How To Order

Here is how to commission a custom-designed, heirloom-quality cottage carpet:

• Decide whether you want a carpet, table runner or bed runner.
• Obtain measurements.
• Though much of the design will be up to the artist herself, make some preliminary decisions regarding motif, imagery, and color (use existing photos, artwork as inspiration if need be)
• Decide if you want a family or cottage name incorporated into the piece and if the piece is to include the date (year)
• Contact the artist via email or telephone to initiate your order
• The artist will discuss your custom designed carpet and either render a small sketch to be used as a loose guideline or employ other images to convey the direction she intends to take your carpet
• Once a general idea for the design is understood, a non-refundable deposit of one third the total price in the form of money order or paypal is necessary to begin the piece.
• A digital photo of the completed piece will be emailed to verify completion
• The second third of your payment is now required and, once received
• The carpet will be shipped to you and insured via UPS ground
• The remaining third of your payment, including shipping is due upon receipt
• Or order an existing rug presented on the gallery page
